Privacy
FooGolf is a small company and this page is written to be read. If anything here is unclear, write to support@foogolf.com.
Your account
When you sign in to foogolf.com or the community forum we keep your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name Google gives us. The account exists so that the extensions you publish and the posts you write are yours. We do not sell or share it, and we send no marketing email.
Extensions you publish
An extension's source is public by design: anyone with its code can install it, and a listed extension is shown on this site with your author name. Remove an extension and we delete every version of it; devices that already installed it keep their copy.
Your device
A FooGolf device works without the cloud. When it is on Wi-Fi it reports its firmware version and a device name so it can receive updates, and it uploads the sensor readings of each putt so that we can improve the measurement; those readings are kept for one year and then deleted. The device is not tied to your website account. Screen sharing to the FooGolf team happens only when you start it on the device.
The forum
The community forum runs on Discourse on our own server. What you post there is public; your email address is not.
